Remember the old times without internet? If you wanted to get somewhere as a German skater, you had to choose one of the following ways:
- Participate in all major contests nation- or better europe-wide.
- Get discovered by Helge Tscharn or Thomas Gensch drowning you in footage.
But the world has changed which makes many talented skaters happy. Like for example Sebastian Hofbauer, German and part-time Andalusian, who without that change - especially internet- and social media-wise - would be doing his incredibly creative and technical tricks completely unnoticed.
